Thanks to everyone who attended a festival event, all the volunteers, the sponsors and chefs who donated their time. It was a huge success, enjoyed by record numbers of people who not only were treated to some unique and memorable tasty treats, but the beauty of the Comox Valley during fantastic weather.

1st annual Comox Valley Shellfish Festival Oyster Shucking Competition winner, the Comox Valley’s own Devon Shute of Avenue Bistro!

He plans to use the $500 award in the pursuit of leisurely activities starting off with a camping trip.
